Have you ever imagined having special co-workers…...like cats in the office?
There are plenty of studies showing that keeping cat (or cats) in the workplace will generally reduce work related stress and increase productivity among the employees. But how accurate is the finding?
Let’s see what our people at Expedio think of having these four-legged furry co-workers, Shadow and Trooper at work!

THE PROS:
1. They are certified entertainer who can brighten your day in their own ways.
E.g. Weird sleeping posture, silly actions, priceless facial expression
2. They keep you warm when the office is chilly.
FOC warm and cozy fluffy pillow.
3. The cats keep us humane.
“It’s funny how some people sacrifice their space for the cats to get their afternoon naps.”
4. They are the best stress relievers at work.
“Simply looking at their cute face, suddenly all stress gone.”
5. They are good listeners too.
“It is also a good way to practice language without being judged ya!”
6. Parenthood training.
“Being able to carry Trooper like a child in my arms and feels the similar responsibility of a parent.”
7. They are as close to maintenance free as it gets as they are very good at taking care of themselves!
But… Nothing is perfect anyway.…..
THE CONS:
1. The cats might steal your food or drinks without you noticing.
And they could be staring at you while eating.
2. They like to walk or sleep on your laptop without your consent.
Ended up with hitting on unknown buttons, messing up your laptop setting or even switching off your laptop.
3. Cats are attention seekers.
“They like to push things off your table, leaving fur and paw prints all over your chair and desk and sometimes destroy things within their reach.”
However, we do think that the benefits of having the cats in the office outweigh any problems they might cause. On top of that, who could stay mad with these adorable faces?
